Online Public School Helps Student Excel

Second-grader Skylar Thompson begins her school day at 9 a.m. Like many other public school students, her teacher takes attendance and she takes part in classes, including collaborating with other students at times. But there’s one big difference: Skylar doesn’t ride in a bus or car to get to school. Her classroom is in her Greene County home.
